About the treatment

IPL (Intense Pulse Light) laser acne treatment targets acne-prone skin to reduce acne bacteria for a clearer complexion

How does it work?
During this laser acne treatment, a cool gel is applied to the skin and you will be given dark glasses to protect your eyes. A hand piece is placed on your skin and pulses of light are emitted to treat the skins imperfections. The firing of the IPL feels like the flicking of an elastic band, and does not require local anesthetic cream or analgesics beforehand. Treatments can take as little as 5-10 minutes, or up to 45minutes, depending on the area treated. Im
How long will the results last?
Once the bacteria is destroyed results are permanent. The use of cosmetic home care products and other complementary treatments will ensure prolonged results.
Treatment preparation
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to any IPL treatment. The skin must be free from spray tan or tanning creams. If treating an area covered in hair, the hair must be shaved 12-24hrs prior to coming for your treatment.

IPL is not suitable for those who have been on Roaccutane in the last 6 months, have open wounds, infections, rosacea, psoriasis or dermatitis in the area to be treated.
